In February 2018, during the 50th anniversary of their high school graduation at La Salle Green Hills (LSGH), the golden jubilarians, also referred to the Primus class of 1968 (being the first high school graduates of the School), agreed to establish a scholarship fund for the LSGH Adult Night High School (ANHS) to be known as the Primus Legacy Fund (PLF).
The primary goal of the Primus Legacy Fund (PLF) is to help improve and transform the lives of deserving but needy students of the ANHS program. The PLF seeks to provide scholarship assistance to students of ANHS, particularly those qualified to enroll in the technical and vocational courses or programs. We hope to continue providing assistance even after graduation by helping provide livelihood and employment opportunities to our scholar-graduates.
The PLF is envisioned to be a fixed-term fund with a 10-year life. Every year part of the fund's principal and earnings will be used as a donation exclusively to the LSGH ANHS. The plan is to provide full scholarship and financial assistance for at least ten (10) ANHS students every year. The PLF seeks to provide scholarship and financial support over the next ten years from 2019 to 2028.
The Primus class has an initial capital held by the LSGH 1968 Primus Foundation, Inc., and partly from contributions during the recent homecoming. Subject to the approval of Primus trustees, these funds shall be earmarked for the PLF. The Primus class intend to raise some Two Million Pesos (P2,000,000) this year and hope to turn over the initial amount by February 2019. Kindly send your donations to "La Salle Green Hills Inc." as payee with note to credit the "Primus Legacy Fund".
The PLF shall be administered and managed by a council, whose initial members represent various Primus classes (401 to 406).
